"Just a note about our building. Janice and I just recently visited a friend at another apartment building here in Manhattan and could not help but notice the difference in cleanliness and attention to detail that The Meurice has in contrast to this other apartment building. This other building has noticeable dirt and dust, and most surfaces in the public areas could have used a good cleaning. Every time we have visitors here at our building, they all comment upon the clean appearance of the public area and the professional staff and how lucky we are to have a staff that cares about their work. Finally, just want to note how professional the staff here is at The Meurice, from the super to the concierges to the porters. All are dedicated professionals that take care of this building and enjoy their work. They respond quickly to any help requests for repairs in our apartment and fix it the first time. Janice and I are fortunate to have lived in the beautiful Meurice.”

I would like to mention how appreciative we are to have a person of Vinny’s ability in charge of the building. During Hurricane Sandy, Vinny led the staff in triple shifts making sure everything possible was done to ensure the safety of the building and its tenants. Whatever needed to be done, they did. As a result, during the storm as the wind howled and debris flew around outside (sometimes crashing into the building), I felt we tenants were safe and there was nothing to worry about.”

“I wish to commend the mew management of 853 7th Avenue on its handling of the recent painting work that was done in my apartment (10B) at 853 7th Avenue, NY, NY 10019.
I left specific instructions with Mesut (the painter) which he followed perfectly, on time, with integrity to the architecture of the building, without leaving a mess and most of all without me being there as I was traveling at the time.
I haven’t felt this type of trust towards any personnel in this building since my family moved in 1965.

We stayed at The Meurice for the months of August and September in apartment #5L. It was a very good experience for us. The apartment was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was superb.
Best of all were the doorman, porters and staff. You have a marvelous team, and it shows. Age greeted us upon our arrival and every day he was most welcoming and concerned about our welfare. Thanks to him, we did not feel anonymous. He always called us by name and had something pleasant to say. Mark and Henry were also most efficient, professional and helpful. We felt in capable hands at all times.
The porter did a marvelous job of keeping the rugs clean and trash/recycling areas in top notch order.
All in all, a very satisfying stay in NYC.

I wanted to take this opportunity to praise The Meurice staff. The superintendent and maintenance team continually work to maintain the cleanliness and polished appearance of the building – inclusive of vacuuming, polishing and daily maintenance of the lobby, elevators and floor hallways. The doormen staff provides exceptional service. Not only am I always greeted with a cheerful hello, the mail/packages are appropriately sorted and they are eager to provide help of any sort, if needed.
